Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d)
Analysis & Simulation

Locations Essen and Bremen • Full-time or part-time

Can you put theory into practice?

__________

At P. E. Concepts, you will work on mechanical components and structures that contribute to clean energy
and plenty of excitement.

Your projects will primarily take you into the fields of wind energy and amusement rides. The focus is on structural
mechanics, strength analysis and FE simulation. You will work on a wide range of components – from initial
assessment and detailed analysis through to optimization.

You do not need previous experience in our industries. What matters is that you understand mechanical behaviour,
can confidently assess analysis results, and enjoy taking a closer look at complex engineering challenges.

Your responsibilities

__________

You will take responsibility for the analysis and assessment of challenging mechanical components:

  • You will work on projects involving wind turbines and amusement rides.
  • You will analyse, assess and optimize mechanical components, particularly welded assemblies, with regard
to strength, stability and fatigue life.
  • You will tackle demanding engineering tasks using analytical calculation methods and FE simulations.
  • You will support components and assemblies from initial design through to manufacturing-ready
implementation, working closely with our design engineers.
  • You will prepare the required technical documentation and verification in accordance with national
    and international standards and guidelines.
  • You will discuss and coordinate technical matters directly with clients and project partners around the world.
  • As you gain experience, you will take on greater responsibility and have the opportunity to
    manage your own projects.

What you bring

__________

You will be a good fit for us if you:

  • hold a degree in mechanical engineering or have a comparable qualification
  • have sound knowledge of component design and verification with regard to strength, stability
    and, ideally, fatigue life
  • have a strong understanding of structural mechanics
  • have experience with FEM software, particularly ANSYS, and ideally are also familiar with CAD software
    such as SolidWorks
  • can confidently assess analysis results and evaluate their practical feasibility
  • approach tasks in a structured way and maintain an overview even when dealing with complex
    technical challenges
  • enjoy developing your own ideas and actively contributing to finding solutions
  • work independently and with a solution-oriented mindset
  • are a team player with good communication skills
  • are confident communicating in both German and English

Experienced professional or just getting started?

__________

Both are welcome.

If you already have professional experience in the development and analysis of mechanical components, you will
have the opportunity to take on responsibility quickly.

But we are equally happy to hear from you if you are a recent graduate.

Experience in wind energy or amusement rides is an advantage, but not a requirement. We will help you become
familiar with the specific requirements of our projects and industries.

What you can expect at P. E. Concepts

__________

You will work in an interdisciplinary team with flat hierarchies, short lines of communication, and a culture built
on mutual respect and appreciation.

You will have the opportunity to take on responsibility, contribute your own ideas, and actively help shape the way
we work. You will also have a say in your own professional development: whether you want to focus more on
technical expertise or move towards project and management responsibility in the long term is something we will
discuss and develop together.

You can also expect:

  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Performance-based compensation
  • Attractive additional benefits
  • Regular team events
  • A collaborative and dynamic team

Would you like to become part of P. E. Concepts GmbH?
We look forward to getting to know you.
