At P. E. Concepts, you will work on structures that go beyond standard civil engineering. From civil engineering
structures and wind turbines to amusement rides, you can expect a wide variety of structural challenges and
projects that continually bring something new.
Our work focuses primarily on steel and concrete structures – from the initial structural concept through design and
analysis to detailed engineering.
You do not need previous experience in our industries. What matters is that you think structurally, understand how
things work together, and enjoy tackling challenges that may be new or unconventional.
Your responsibilities

You will take responsibility for the structural engineering of challenging structures:
- You will work on projects in wind energy, amusement rides, structural engineering and special structures.
- You will handle demanding tasks in steel and concrete construction – from conceptual solutions through
to detailed structural analysis. - You will develop designs and structural solutions for structures subject to static and dynamic loads.
- You will perform the required structural calculations and verifications to assess load-bearing structures.
- You will prepare the required technical documentation in accordance with national and international
standards and guidelines. - You will discuss and coordinate technical matters directly with clients and project partners around the world.
- As you gain experience, you will take on greater responsibility and have the opportunity to manage your
own projects.
What you bring

You will be a good fit for us if you:
- hold a degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering, or a comparable degree
- have sound knowledge of steel and concrete structures
- have a strong understanding of structural mechanics and very good knowledge of structural design
and verification, including ultimate limit state and fatigue - have experience using FEM and CAD software, such as ANSYS, RFEM and SolidWorks, and are confident
in assessing FE analysis results - are familiar with relevant standards, codes and regulations
- approach tasks in a structured way and maintain an overview even when dealing with complex
technical challenges - enjoy developing your own ideas and actively contributing to finding solutions
- work independently and with a solution-oriented mindset
- are a team player with good communication skills
- are confident communicating in both German and English
Experienced professional or just getting started?

If you already have professional experience in structural engineering, you will have the opportunity to take on
responsibility quickly.
But we are equally happy to hear from you if you are a recent graduate.
Experience in wind energy, amusement rides, structural engineering or special structures is an advantage,
but not a requirement. We will help you become familiar with the specific requirements of our projects
and industries.
